Telesis "...an ancient Greek word signifying the achievement of a steady progress towards an objective through careful planning & the intelligent use of resources"
The first edition of the book The Briton's Quest for Freedom will be supported by notes for teachers and lecturers entitled Notes on Constitution. These will be suitable for university level work with guidelines on reading sequencing so as to provide the basis for various types of course from introductory three lecture course to a more substantive 25 lecture course.
Accompanying the real world
We intend to make The Briton's Quest for Freedom a regularly updated reference work which takes into account the evolving political and economic situation in the United Kingdom and the status of our democracy. The accompanying Notes on Constitution will also be updated so as to provide a comprehensive cover and explanitory material covering Constitution, Constitutional Economics, including the Real Incomes Approach, and the degree of freedom of expression and choice.
This approach is designed to make the book and any courses based upon it relevant to the current constitutional state of affairs.
Constitution List
An email list for anyone interested in exploring the content and boundaries of The Briton's Quest for Freedom material will be initiated at the time of publication of the first edition of Notes on Constitution (end of 2007). This will be enable anyone to pose questions and discuss content with others interested in this emerging field. We hope that this will prove to be a useful source for individuals who wish to discuss the wider implications of the findings in this work as well as identify promising directions for pursuing their own research interests.
